Youth Group News!!!!
WOW!!! What a busy December we had. We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. We were able to rake Paula Baskin’s yard on Sunday, December 4th. This was a huge fundraiser for us and our plans for next summer. She also provided lunch for us. We were also able to deliver presents to twelve veterans at the VA Hospital on December 11th. All the recipients were very grateful for our generosity and how we showed Christ’s love. A huge shout out to Michele Oxendine for directing another GREAT Christmas program on Sunday, December 19th. We also brought in the New Year as a group at Unicoi County High School. Their principal and athletic director allowed our group to use their gym, auditorium, and classrooms to celebrate with other kids their age. The month of January is going to be another busy one. We are going on a winter hike to the fire tower on Buffalo Mountain with the Padgett family on Sunday, January 8th after the 2nd service. On Saturday, January 21st, we’ll attend “Multiply” with eight other youth groups. This is a fun time of food, fellowship, and worship. We’ll have another youth meeting at Bethlehem on Saturday, January 28th at 6:30. Youth Sunday will on Sunday, January 29th. Once again, we are thankful for your prayers and support. Keep your faith, hope, and love in the Lord. ---David Nutter
