All of our youth have had a great start back to school. We would also like to thank the congregation for hosting a youth panel discussion. We have really enjoyed collaborating with everyone for the Glory of God. On Saturday, August 3rd, our youth were part of the Fairmont Community Wide Pig Roast at the Nutter’s house. On Sunday, August 18th, we had a special time together on the top of the Pinnacle Fire Tower. We saw one of the most beautiful sunsets ever. We talked a lot about the past, present, and future plans. On Friday, August 30th, our youth fed the homeless through Family Promise. We were able to serve four different families and show the love of Jesus Christ. September has a lot to offer for our youth. On Sunday, September 8th, we are going to open our youth meeting up to the junior youth to go watch Aladdin at 6:20pm. On Sunday, September 22nd, we’ll head down to John Sevier and Founders Park to ask people for prayer request and hope to open up a dialogue that may lead to a discussion about God’s love for them. Youth Sunday will be on September 29th. The youth will assume the responsibility of being ushers and reading the lessons during worship. Thanks again for your continued thoughts and prayers.
