First of all… CONGRATULATIONS TO ELIZABETH WUDTKE!!!!!! She will be graduating from Homelife Academy on Saturday, May 18th. She plans to attend TCAT, in Elizabethton, where she’ll study welding. She is in our thoughts and prayers. The month of April offered so much for the youth.... The youth went Real to Reel to watch “How to Train Your Dragon.” We had a great time as a group. On Sunday, April 14, we had a youth meeting to stuff Easter Eggs for the following weekend. On Friday, April 19th, we watched The Passion of Christ at the church. On Saturday, April 20th, we had our annual egg hunt at Bethlehem from 12-2. Please check the board once a month to see the latest pictures from our meeting and activities. May will be another busy month. On Thursday, May 2nd… We will go watched “Unplanned.” The Whaley’s highly recommended it for the more mature audience. It is about the evils and lies of abortions. It is a well-directed movie/documentary. It has a great message to help fight against abortions from happening. On Saturday, May 11th…. We’ll get together to do a hike on Roan Mountain. We’ll build a campfire and eat s’mores on top of the mountain. We’ll leave from the church at 5pm. On Saturday, May 18th… Elisabeth graduates from high school!!!! On Saturday, May 25th, we’ll test our bowling skills against each other at Holiday Lanes. We’ll then go have a slushy at Sonic and talk, as a group, about where we are in our faith with Jesus Christ. We are still taking donations for our annual rummage sale. This year’s rummage sale will be in the late summer/early fall. Thank you again for your continued support and prayers for our youth.
