Youth Group News!!!!
WOW!!! What a busy January we had. We brought in the New Year as a group at Unicoi County High School. Their principal and athletic director allowed our group to use their gym, auditorium, and classrooms to celebrate with other kids their age. We also hope you all enjoyed our Chili Bowl Fundraiser. This was a huge fundraiser for us. The month of February is going to be another busy one. On Saturday, February 11th, we’ll meet at the church at 5pm to head over to Heritage Baptist Church. They have asked many youth groups in the area for help with the COPS Night Out program. We will be babysitting kids whose parents are part of the Johnson City Police Department to allow them to have a “date night.” We’ll be there until 10pm. If anyone in the congregation would like to help with this event, please contact David Nutter. Multiply will be on Saturday, February 18th. We’ll meet at the church at 6:30. We are also going on a winter hike to the fire tower on Buffalo Mountain with the Padgett family on Sunday, February 26th after the 2nd service. Lastly, if you have any rummage sale donations, please contact David Nutter to set up a pick-up time for our youth to come and get it, or you can just bring it to church with you. The date of the rummage sale is Saturday, April 1st. Once again, we are thankful for your prayers and support. Keep your faith, hope, and love in the Lord. ---David Nutter
