Youth Group News!!!!
WOW!!! What a busy February we had. On Saturday, February 11th, we met at Heritage Baptist Church with many youth groups in the area to help with the COPS Night Out program. We babysat kids whose parents are part of the First Responders in Johnson City. This enabled parents to have a “date night.” Our youth enjoyed giving back to the community in this unique way. We were also able to help Mrs. Anna Smitley, educator in the Johnson City Schools, move from the south side of town to the north side of town. She was very grateful for our youth’s efforts. March will be another busy month. We are getting geared up for our bi-annual rummage sale. If you have any rummage sale donations, please contact David Nutter (931-273-5275) to set up a pick-up time for our youth to come and get it, or you can just bring it to church with you. We’ll have youth meetings on March 4th, 11th, 26th, 30th, and 31st. The date of the rummage sale is set for Saturday, April 1st. Once again, we are thankful for your prayers and support.
