Youth Group News!!!!
     Our Rummage Sale last month was a HUGE success.  We had a steady flow of customers throughout the entire sale.  We were able to raise $791!!!  This will really help defray the cost of our summer mission trip and other expenditures that come up when serving others.  Also, thank you to those that helped set up, work, and clean up the annual fall festival.  Your baked goods were a huge hit during the cakewalk.  Despite the driving rain, we had well over 70 people inside our fellowship hall.  Over 50 of those people were kids 10 years of age and younger.  November will be another busy month.  Our youth will be driving to Flag Pond, TN on November 4th to attend "Multiply."  We'll have a time of fellowship with food, devotions, games, and a bonfire with other youth groups from the area.  We look forward to sharing stories of our time together as a group with other groups.  Our youth would like to host our first annual Veterans Day/Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner on Saturday, November 11th at the Whaley's home.  This is a great opportunity for our youth to interact with those that have served our country in the military and share stories of each other's lives.  Please look for more information about that in the bulletin and verbal announcement at church on Sunday, November 5th.  The dinner will be from 6:30-8:30.  Please contact David Nutter if you have served in the military for additional information (what to bring, what to wear, etc.) concerning this event at 931-273-5275.  We will have our last youth meeting on Saturday, November 18th from 6:30-8:30 at Bethlehem.  We've also had a GREAT start to our high school Sunday school class.  Each of our youth are now keeping a prayer journal.  They are also answering guided discussion questions to help us grow in together in Christ.  Some of the topics include: Society & Life, Just for You, Home & Family, Spiritual, etc.  Lastly, I would like to thank you all again for your continued support and prayers. We are thankful for you.  Happy Thanksgiving!!!
