September news

Youth Group News!!! 
August was another busy month for our youth.  On August, 4th, our youth attended the 4th annual pig roast at my house.  It was a time of fun and fellowship.  On Friday, August 10th, we served families through Family Promise.  The families were so thankful and appreciative of our efforts.  On Saturday, August 24th we headed to Multiply for a 100 ft slip n’ slide, bonfire, and devotions.  We had a blast with three other youth groups.  September will be another busy month.  On September 1st, we’ll head over to the bowling alley to bowl a few games as a group from 6:30-8:30.  We’ll be back at Multiply with four other youth groups on September 22nd from 6-9:30.  During Sunday school on Sunday, September 23rd, we’ll go to Emmanuel School of Religion to have class.  We’re planning to do our study in front of a 15 ft cross.  Please feel free to join us during this hour of class.  We’re going to the movies on Saturday, September 29th from 7-9.  Sunday, September 30th will be Youth Sunday.  The youth group will assume the responsibility of being ushers and read the lesson readings during worship.  Thank you again for your continued support and prayers in our youth.
