What's New?!

WOW!!!  It was another busy month for our youth group.  We were able to load up and travel over the VA Hospital to disciple to our veterans.  We enjoyed visiting with the individuals and sharing personal stories about our lives.  At the end of each conversation, we asked; “How can we pray for you?”  Many of the veterans had a list of things they wanted us to pray about.  Our youth were not just being disciples…they were being discipled.  It was a beautiful night.  I wish I had a chance to share pictures of the night, but I think there are HIPA laws that prevent me from doing this.  There was one man whose daughter was present and allowed us to take a picture with him.  We hope you like that picture.  We also had a chance to go as a group of nine to see a movie in the theaters.  We had a good time laughing and being youth.  We are also currently on Chapters 15 and 16 of “The Story.”  We loved Chapters 13 and 14.  We finished with Chapter 14 following a trip to the movies at Reel to Real.  Our youth have really grown closer through the study.  We are making deep connections with one another, through scripture, into our daily lives.  Also, thank you for your prayers for a safe delivery of my daughter on January 20th.  Her name is Haven Lindsay Nutter.  Your prayers were truly felt.  We would also like to thank you for all your help and contributions to our Chili Supper.  The fund raiser really helps defray the cost of upcoming mission trips.  We were able to raise around $200 through you generosity.  We hope you enjoy those pictures as well.  Lastly, would you like to make the trip of a lifetime?  Pastor Marty & Linda Nutter of Faith Lutheran Church, Tullahoma, TN are returning to Israel this fall and are looking for those who would like to join them.  Would that be YOU?  “Israel 2016 - Faith Alive” October 22 – November 4, 2016.  Please speak to David Nutter for more information.  Here is how our February looks:
