The ladies of the LWML gathered together at the 2021 National Convention in Lexington, Kentucky. The event lasted from Thursday June 24th to Sunday June 27th. 2,700 women from around the United States filled the Rupp Arena to worship our Lord, listen to guest speakers, hear of all the wonderful ways that the LWML is involved is mission work, and most importantly to give honor and glory to God. Young Women Representatives (YWR's) are selected from each U.S. district to participate in many activities that contribute to the energy and success of the convention. This year's representative from Bethlehem was April Tester, 1 of the 4 YWR's from the Mid-South District. This year's theme: "Running the Race... Looking to Jesus" (Hebrews 12:1-2) The photos below captured only a small part of the fun and love that was shared among the women. Thursday evening service. Pastors lined up every row to distribute the Lord's Supper. Saturday night entertainment. You can't leave Kentucky without a little Bluegrass y'all!
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Camron Scruggs and Ruth Wudtke for graduating from high school! Camron graduated from Science Hill High School on May 28th. He will be going to Northeast State to study computer technology. Ruth graduated from Tennessee Online Public School on May 22. She will be going to Savannah College of Art and Design this fall to study fashion merchandising and accessory design. We hope and pray that your current and future endeavors continue to glorify God.
